Buah Roh yang paling sulit

Buah Roh yang paling sulit.. 

Shalom saudaraku, selamat hari minggu. Pernahkah Anda merenungkan Gal. 5:21-22 secara sungguh-sungguh? Ini dua ayat yang pendek, namun sesungguhnya perlu waktu seumur hidup untuk menjalankannya. 

Yang seringkali kita lupa adalah hubungannya dengan ayat 16-17, karena ayat 21-22 sering dicomot ke luar konteks:

Galatia 5:16-17, 22-23 (TB)  Maksudku ialah: hiduplah oleh Roh, maka kamu tidak akan menuruti keinginan daging. 

Sebab keinginan daging berlawanan dengan keinginan Roh dan keinginan Roh berlawanan dengan keinginan daging — karena keduanya bertentangan — sehingga kamu setiap kali tidak melakukan apa yang kamu kehendaki. 

Tetapi buah Roh ialah: kasih, sukacita, damai sejahtera, kesabaran, kemurahan, kebaikan, kesetiaan, 

kelemahlembutan, penguasaan diri. Tidak ada hukum yang menentang hal-hal itu.

Yang paling sulit? 

Dari 9 buah roh itu menurut hemat saya, penguasaan diri atau pengendalian diri yang paling sulit. Mungkin karena itu ditaruh yang paling akhir. 

Misalnya, kita lagi jalan-jalan terus melihat hp tergeletak. Mungkin ego mengatakan sikat aja bro. Namun kerendahhatian akan mengingatkan: mungkin pemiliknya memerlukan. 

Demikianlah semoga kita bisa belajar mengendalikan diri.
