Pohon ara bertunas -- carilah karunia bani Isakhar

Penulis kadang mendengar renungan atau bahkan seminar oleh para hamba Tuhan "besar" yang sepertinya memaknai ayat pohon ara bertunas dalam Matius 24 secara semi-literal, lalu mengajarkan bahwa: pohon ara= umat Israel, dan 1 generasi sekitar 70 th. Maka berarti akhir zaman: kelahiran negara Israel: 1947 + 70 = 2017. Jadi itulah tahun akhir zaman, kabarnya dulu mereka sering khotbah seperti itu. Tidak terdengar lagi bagaimana mereka menafsirkan tahun 2022 ini...:-)
Salah satu contoh:
Mat 24:32. Perumpamaan tentang pohon ara, ini menjadi patokan yang harus kita perhatikan. Ketika carangnya lembut dan daunnya bertunas, ini berarti mulai ada pertumbuhan, belum penuh, baru carangnya mulai tumbuh dan daunnya bertunas, ini tanda-tandanya musim panas sudah dekat, ini cerita tentang kedatangan Tuhan seperti yang disebut dalam seluruh pasal ini, juga langsung dalam Mat 24:37,38 dikatakan kedatangan Tuhan itu seperti zaman Nuh (Luk 17:26-27). Mat 24:33 kalau hal-hal ini terjadi, maka kedatangan Tuhan ini sudah dekat di muka pintu.
Bahwa pohon ara bertunas mungkin saja melambangkan sesuatu dengan umat Israel, mungkin saja benar. Namun sepertinya, pesan Tuhan Yesus dalam teks itu adalah agar kita peka akan tanda-tanda zaman, dan itu sebenarnya merupakan karunia khusus bani Isakhar.
Jadi pesan Tuhan Yesus tampaknya lebih seperti ini: hiduplah terus dekat dengan-Ku, tinggallah di dalam kasih Bapa, maka Aku akan berikan kamu karunia bani Isakhar: karunia untuk mengerti tanda dan masa.

When the branches are soft and the leaves are sprouting, this means that there is growth, not yet full, the branches are just starting to grow and the leaves are sprouting, this is a sign that summer is near, this is a story about the coming of the Lord as mentioned throughout this chapter, also directly in Matt. 24:37,38 it says that the coming of the Lord will be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:26-27). Matt 24:33 if these things happen, then the coming of the Lord is at hand.
That a fig tree sprouting might symbolize something with the Israelites, may well be true. However, it seems that the message of the Lord Jesus in the text is that we are sensitive to the signs of the times, and that is actually a special gift for the people of Issachar.
So the Lord Jesus' message seems more like this: live close to Me, abide in the love of the Father, and I will give you the gift of the children of Issachar: the gift of understanding signs and times.
One of the interesting things is that, it seems that we are experiencing a "planetary ascension" which is also known as Satya Yuga. How to interpret it?
