Shalom para sahabat. Kemarin pagi, saya mengikuti acara doa pagi dan bahan diskusi kami kemarin adalah mengenai Mat. 1:23..mengenai Immanuel.

Matius 1:23 (TB) "Sesungguhnya, anak dara itu akan mengandung dan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan mereka akan menamakan Dia Imanuel" — yang berarti: Allah menyertai kita.

Pengertian Immanuel ada 4 hal:
- Allah yang Ada
- Allah yang hadir dalam hidup kita
- Allah yang menyertai kita
- Allah yang aktif bertindak dan menyapa kita

Betapa hebatnya janji Tuhan.
Sesungguhnya ada banyak keyakinan yang menyatakan bahwa Tuhan ada namun begitu Jauh dan kurang peduli.

Padahal sebenarnya kita seperti berenang di dalam lautan Tuhan. Perhatikan kotbah Paulus di Areopagus, Athena:

Kisah Para Rasul 17:28
Sebab di dalam Dia kita hidup, kita bergerak, kita ada, seperti yang telah juga dikatakan oleh pujangga-pujanggamu: Sebab kita ini dari keturunan Allah juga.

Jika kita sadar akan hal ini, mungkin akan lebih mudah kita belajar berkomunikasi dengan Tuhan.
Maukah Anda berkomunikasi secara akrab dengan Tuhan?
Mintalah pengampunanNya dan mintalah agar Dia menyapa Anda.
